Our design brief for Maxi’s Tipi Lounge was to create the Cotswold’s version of a tropical paradise. Laurence was keen to bring the shapes and colours of the local nature to the Tipi and the design became a homage to the shared childhood memory of building a summer pillow fort.

 

The hotel owner’s wife, Maxi, has a flair for glamour and pattern which left us with room to play with colourways of LLB patterns on cushions, bean bags, lampshades and upholstery. The end result was a luxury maximalist emporium.

 

Our 3D renders allowed us to showcase our visions to the clients early on in the process, gaining their unquestionable approval from the get go.
